Silkworms (25)
Silkworms available for sale in store or online. 25 worms for $25
They feed primarily on Mulberry leaves but these particular ones have been raised on Mulberry Chow. More Chow will be needed if keeping for full life cycle (approx 1 weeks worth included). - Make for an interesting and educational pet for kids - Great high protein food for all insect eating animals
We only send on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesday to ensure they are not in transit over the weekend. Live Silkworms are not available for sale to WA and Tasmania. Silkworms have a life cycle of 55-60 days.
Your silkworms will soon spin a silken cocoon. The cocoon will then hatch into a moth and lay eggs. Silkworms should be kept at an even temperature, preferably around 23 celsius but a bit cooler is OK. Silkworms are also a great food source. Volume for volume, silkworms are more nutricious than either mealworms or crickets. They are a very soft bodied "worm" and add variety to the diets of many insect eaters.
PLEASE NOTE: This item is an express only item, any other products on the same order must be sent express also. If ordering other products with this item, your delivery cost may be cheaper if done on two separate orders.
